How I use computors at Trinity

As I mentioned in my previous post, I don't know how to do much with computers. If a computer has Internet and word document, I'm set. That being said, its no surprise that I do not take full advantage of Trinity's wireless capabilities. My laptop is too heavy to carry around campus, so I mainly use the computer in my room. When I do use the computer, I either use word to get my assignments done, or I go on the Internet. When I'm on the Internet, I use it mostly recreationally. Except for checking my email, logging onto blackboard to get my assignments, and class related research, I don't use the Internet for academic purposes. I mostly use the Internet when I'm bored and want a distraction. I go on facebook about once a day, and sometimes go on celebrity sights like perezhilton.com. Although I don't necessarily take full advantage of the wireless opportunities here, iIknow its lucky and important to be so easily connected to the Internet. In this article, http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/technology/2005-03-28-college-tech-usat_x.htm, USA Today describes the growing wireless phenomenon and its importance.
